YoungArts, the national foundation for the advancement of artists, presents a celebration of its award winners’ burgeoning artistry in filmmaking and storytelling. Hosted by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Tarell Alvin McCraney, Future Visions features five short screenings by filmmakers Paulís Cofresí Cartagena, Tangier Dortch, Nathan Ginter, Thomas Kim and Teddy Alvarez-Nissen. As a body of work, Future Visions examines the use of cinema to expand and challenge how our nation understands the humanity of its everyday citizens. 

A conversation between the filmmakers will follow the screenings.
